“White people are destroying the amazon because they don't know how to dream. If they could, like us, hear words other than merchandise, they would know how to be less hostile towards indigenous peoples.”
Davi Kopenawa - Shaman and leader of the yanomami indigenous people of brazil.
Could the act of remembering our dreams contribute to the construction of a less fascist and more democratic society?
Some people say yes. among them are indigenous people and psychiatrists.
While dreaming, our memories are shuffled, reorganized, and guided by much more free rules than during the vigil. This creative reorganization is capable not only of reviewing memories but of reordering them, making us able to look further, bringing humans closer to an idea of the future and the consequences of our actions.

"AGAINST FASCISM, DREAM"

The audience attending the performance receives a soothing tea bag called DemocraTea.
On the back of the tea bag, they can find instructions that help them to remember their dreams when awake better.

The performance questions the idea of art and human productivity, giving the act of sleeping the status of a work of art, something that needs to be contemplated, preserved, and protected.
