Ôma, a dis-play
Video Game and Performance
Concept, Game Design, and Writing
Ôma can be defined as a game, but not really. It's a performance, but far from it. It is an invitation to walk through universes beyond the home inhabited by an avatar. It is a pre-programmed conversation with silence or not-always-artificial intelligence.

Watch the teaser here:

Inside a mixed-media universe of performance, video games, and cinema, the audience can experience what it is like to live in the quarantine of one of two characters - Lala or Tetê -, in São Paulo in 2020.
The audience will journey through a political, sanitary, and economic crisis, while, despite the harsh theme, still being able to laugh and feel light-hearted in the middle of the tragedy.
Ôma has 3 modes of interaction:
- A live version of Ôma, where the audience actively plays the game while simultaneously witnessing the real lives of the actresses who portray the avatars via Zoom:
- Live recorded version recorded at SESC Pompeia. This version is just to watch:
